Scan Alarms are the proud sponsor of Queen’s Soccer Academy and Queen’s AFC’s first team, playing in the NIFL Championship.

Queen’s Soccer Academy was founded in 2007 and aims to create a high performance environment for student athletes in their pursuit of academic and sporting excellence.

Over the last two years the club has experienced its most successful period in history culminating in winning the NIFL Intermediate league and Intermediate cup in 2019 before making their first foray into senior football. Academy scholarship students Ronan Young and Matt Hughes were also selected to represent Ireland at the World University Games in Naples this summer.

Partnering the Soccer Academy with Scan Alarms will continue to drive excellence at Queen’s University by supporting player development through scholarships and services that enhance the long term objectives of the club and teams.

This collaboration also offers a unique opportunity to enhance the support around the first team with Scan Alarms recent installation of a monitoring system on Queen’s home pitch. State of the art motion and heat sensor driven cameras have augmented the provision of performance analysis for review and preparation.
